Registration

Who can attend the London Vet Show?

The London Vet Show is for all veterinary professionals and the whole practice team. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Veterinary Surgeons
  • Veterinary Nurses
  • Veterinary Assistants
  • Veterinary Students
  • Practice Owners/Managers
  • Veterinary Receptionists and the Administrative Team

What happens after I sign up for the show?

Once you are registered you will:

  • Receive a confirmation with your registration code and receipt.
  • Be the first to hear about programme and speaker updates.
  • Get exclusive news and discounts from our exhibitors.
  • Your delegate badge will arrive in the mail about two weeks before the show if you reside in the UK.
  • If you do not receive your badge or live outside the UK then you can print your badge when you arrive at the show with your registration code.

How can I make changes to my registration?

You can edit your registration details any time by calling us at +44 (0) 2476 719 687 or email lvs@closerstillmedia.com.

Please be aware that we send our tickets by mail prior to the show. You may edit your details until the 20th October to receive your amended badge by mail. Alternatively, you can also amend your information onsite.

How much does it cost to attend?

The pricing increases throughout the year. The sooner you book, the more you save.

BVA and BEVA members receive further discounts on registration. Please use your membership number when booking and the discount will be automatically applied.

What is included in my conference pass?

Registration includes full access to both days to the exhibition hall and all streams and theatres  - as well as lunch vouchers to keep you fuelled and access to the Happy Hour at the end of the first day!

When will I receive my ticket?

Your ticket(s) will be sent about two weeks prior to the show via mail. If you signed up after the 20th October you can print your ticket onsite at the registration area using your registration code that you will receive via email.

Can I cancel my registration?

Paid-for places can be refunded up until the 27th September 2024. A service charge of 25% will occur. After this date, no refunds for registrations will be available. We will not reimburse you for any expenses that have incurred in relation to the Event. 

Places may be transferred to attend another CloserStill Media Veterinary Event within 12 months of the London Vet Show conference, to another or to a colleague without incurring any extra fees. Conference passes cannot be resold or rolled over to the following year more than once.

Can I transfer my ticket to another person?

If you are not able to attend once you've registered, your pass is transferable to another member of your practice at any time. Please contact us by calling us on +44 (0) 2476 719 687 or emailing lvs@closerstillmedia.com to transfer the ticket.

How can I pay my registration fees?

At the moment we only accept the registration via VISA, MasterCard, Maestro and Solo. Please note that all fees need to be paid in full at the time of registration. If you have any issues registering please contact us on +44 (0) 2476 719 687 or send an email to lvs@closerstillmedia.com.

if you need to pay by another means including BACS please contact us to arrange an invoice to be sent.

Are there discounted tickets available?

Babes in Arms & Child Policy

For the interest of everyone involved, the London Vet Show does not encourage delegates to bring their children. However we also acknowledges that sometimes you will need to look after the best interests of your child. If you would like to bring your newborn or toddler to the show, they will be fine to be in the halls in a harness or pram.

There is a general family room onsite at the venue which is available to all located within the London Vet Show. Please ask at the Info Point for directions or look on the floorplan. We also ask for any parents planning to bring their children to the show to fill in the form below in prior to the event, so we can ensure your child's health and safety at the London Vet Show.

Opening Times & Venue

When does the show open?

  • 8:15AM - 6:00M on Thursday, 16th November 
  • 8:15AM - 5:00PM on Friday,  17th November 

Registration is open from 7:45AM each day, be sure to arrive promptly to ensure an early start to the event.

Happy Hour will take place on the show floor on the Thursday from 5:30PM-6:45PM - access is included in all ticket types.

What is the best way to get to the venue?

Virtually all roads lead to the London Vet Show, whether you're travelling by train, plane, or car. There are various options available, please visit our travel section to find your best way.

What public transport is available to use?

London Underground

  • The Elizabeth Line is the quickest route to ExCeL London - Custom House is the nearest station.
  • You can also take the Jubilee Line and the DLR.
  • Alight at Canning Town on the Jubilee Line and change onto a Beckton-bound DLR train for the quick two-stop journey to ExCeL: Custom House for ExCeL (for the west entrance).

London Overground

  • The London Overground, part of the London Underground network, serves a large part of Greater London and parts of Hertfordshire with 112 stations on several routes. The Overground is highlighted in orange on the tube map.
  • The DLR and Jubilee Line can be connected from multiple Overground lines such as Stratford, Canada Water, and Shadwell. It’s also possible to join the Overground and travel to ExCeL London from Euston station.

DLR (Docklands Light Railway)

  • The Docklands Light Railway (known as the DLR) is part of the London Underground network. Two of the stations, Custom House and Prince Regent, are on our campus. Trains pull up at a covered walkway leaving visitors with less than a two minute’s walk to the entrance.

We recommend buying an Oyster Card at any underground station to pay for your transport or use a contactless payment card and the Citymapper App to find your fastest and best way.

Is there any parking available at the venue?

There are 3,070 parking spaces available at ExCeL, London on a first come, first serve basis. Parking for up to 24 hours is £25 in the orange car park (under the main venue) and the east car park (when in use). Parking in the Royal Victoria multi-storey car park is £25 for up to 24 hours. Motorcycles can park free of charge in the designated motorcycle parking area in the upper-level orange car park, zone 3.

If you’re using satellite navigation please enter the postcode E16 1FR for the entrance to the car park.
You can also use the what3words app or go to the website, and enter the three word address ///expect.likes.eager for car park entrance. For more information on what3words, please click here.

The parking map for the orange car park can be found here. Please note that the access to the car park is only via Royal Victoria Dock Road or the A112.

The Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) includes ExCeL London. Please visit https://tfl.gov.uk/modes/driving/check-your-vehicle/ to check whether your vehicle is subject to ULEZ charge.

  • London is the best connected city in the world and is reachable quickly by almost any location around the world. The four main airports surrounding London are frequented by several airlines, with a wide range in prices and cities, arriving and leaving London.

Do I need a VISA to attend the show, if I am not from the United Kingdom?

You may be required to obtain a visa if you are traveling from outside the EU, EEA or Commonwealth. Go to gov.uk to find out more! If you require a VISA letter please contact us for assistance.

Are exhibitors collecting any personal data?

All our attendee badges are encoded with your name, address, phone, organisation, and e-mail address (if applicable). Exhibitors obtain this information only if they scan your badge in the exhibition. If you do not wish to share your information, please do not have your badge scanned by exhibitors.

What sessions can I attend?

Our sessions aren't restricted and are available to everyone. Please be aware that therefore seats aren't guaranteed.

The only sessions that require pre-registration are those in the Modern Veterinary Practice Theatre - you can reserve your place in the app.

Continuing Professional Development Accreditation

How many CPD hours will I receive?

The London Vet Show is accredited for up to 17 hours of CPD for vets and vet nurses.

The conference programme features more than 375 internationally-renowned speakers, delivering 280+ hours of accredited education. It has been designed to cover all species and a broad range of clinical and business topics so matter what your interests and needs, you will get the knowledge and advice you need at the London Vet Show. 

Don't forget to pick up your Certificate of Attendance at the CPD Point at the London Vet Show!

How do I obtain my CPD certificate?

Certificates will be available to collect from CPD Collection Point on the last day of the event. They will also be sent out via email two weeks post event to the email address you provided on registration.

Will presentations or recordings be available for purchase?

With over 200 hours of world-class content this year, we will be offering this year’s lectures online after the show as CPD webinars. Available to pre-booked delegates only for just £149+VAT, this means you can consolidate what you learn at the show and experience anything you miss. Onsite Services

Is there any WIFI available?

Complimentary WiFi is available throughout ExCeL London for light web surfing. We advise downloading any large files before arriving at the event.

Is lunch included in my conference pass?

Lunch and beverage service is included as part of your delegate badge. You will find lunch vouchers in your Holiday Passport Book to be redeemed for lunch and refreshments in the hall.

Coffee, tea and water stations are available throughout each day within the exhibition hall.

Lunch will be served between 11:30AM – 2:30PM each day. It can be obtained with the vouchers found within your holiday passport book (included within your delegate bag). Ensure you bring the vouchers with you each day.

Are you providing childcare?

Unfortunately, day care is not available at the London Vet Show, however ExCeL London offers a nursery for children ages 3 months to 5 years . Find out more here

A family room is available at the London Vet Show to facilitate the needs of nursing mothers, and a refrigerator is provided.

Is it possible to smoke at the venue?

Smoking including e-cigarettes is not permit within the ExCeL London, but you will be able to outside of the venue in the designated smoking areas.

Where do I pick up my event materials?

Please collect your delegate bag from the entrance area. This includes the official Show Guide, holiday passport book (lunch vouchers), notepad, pens and other information from our sponsors and partners.

Family Room 

The family room at ExCeL, London has undergone a complete revamp, offering a welcoming and comfortable space for parents and their babies or toddlers when visiting the venue.

Work was undertaken following research into other best-in-class family rooms to ensure the facility was on a par with them.

The family room can be found by S9. Inside has two changing mats, chairs for breastfeeding, a microwave to heat up baby food and a bottle warmer. It also contains a sink and toilet.
